GALST is a member of Alliott Global Alliance. Established in the UK in 1979, Alliott Global Alliance was one of the first international associations of independent accounting firms.  

The founding members recognized that the business of their mid-market was fast becoming more international with supply and demand for many of their clients' products and services no longer being just local. Since then, the has grown to 219 accounting and law firm members in 96 countries and with a total staff of 7.382 employees.
